Michele A. Eid, CPA
Originally from New Jersey, Michele moved to the Mad River Valley in 1979. She graduated from Trinity College in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree, and came to work as a staff accountant at Hall & Holden, P.C. in 1995. Michele became a certified public accountant in 1997, and in 2003, became the third partner at Hall & Holden.
Michele served on the Board of Directors for the Vermont Society of CPAs, and is a past President of the Vermont Association of Public Accountants. She is also very active in the community, and is a past board member of the Mad River Valley Little League, Mad River Soccer Association, Women’s Auxiliary for the Warren Fire Department and Treasurer of the Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce. Michele was also a member of the Mad River Lions Club. She is currently one of the Commissioners on the Vermont State Ethics Commission and Treasurer of the Warren Cemetery Commission.
Douglas L. Hall, Former Partner
A native Vermonter, Doug Hall has been a practicing accountant since 1971, after graduating from Champlain College with an Associate degree in Accounting. He acted as the comptroller for the Sugarbush Inn in Warren, and in 1976, Doug became a public accountant working with Bob Holden at the R.J. Holden Company. He became a certified public accountant in 1989, and in 1996, Doug and Bob formed Hall & Holden, P.C., with Doug becoming the firm’s managing partner.
Doug acted as the Vermont State Director for the National Association of Public Accountants, and was the Treasurer of the Vermont Association of Public Accountants. He served on the Tax Committee for the VT Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also served as Treasurer of the Mad River Valley Chamber of Commerce for 6 years, from 1997-2003 and again from 2009 through 2012. He currently assists with taxes remotely from his office in Florida.
